The purpose of this website is to provide We The People with the knowledge to take back the reigns of government and to reform Our public servants in the judicial, legislative, and executive branches, as well as campaign for specific legislative proposals. Its focus for the present is on State and local government. This site not only addresses specific issues, it also provides thoughtfully researched and developed Open Letters addressed to key government servants – that’s right, Our servants (less we forget).  Herein the reader can link to specific issues, review and sign Open Letters that call for answers and explanations from Our public servants.

With that said. . . .

The Minute Man

For a vast majority of Americans (over 80%) there is a strong sense that our government has been out of control, dysfunctional, and We The People have been disenfranchised from the political process. For decades We The People have called for our government to control spending, balance budgets, to be transparent, accountable, responsive, and efficient. Our great democratic-republic (government of limited & divided powers) has deteriorated to the point that financial institutions, big business, corporations, and commercial  interest groups and lobbyist have more influence than the American citizen, even when there is an overwhelming majority on issues that cross party lines. No matter the campaign promise, for most elected officials their words are nothing more than sound bites to tickle our ears and garner our votes. After elected, only promises to campaign contributors matter, not their duty to We The People.

Fraternity between We The People and most of Our public servants has been, for the most part, dead.

Members of our judiciary have brazenly abdicated their duty to protect our rights and keep us free from unconstitutional laws and procedures. Their obligation to protect the individual from the tyranny of the majority, either actual or garnered through financial contributions, is abdicated. They can and do offend We The People with impunity, even when their conduct is ruled as acts of treason by the U.S. Supreme Court. And under our deteriorated  system of checks and balances they do so with little fear of being held accountable. The record shows that allegations of misconduct filed against the judiciary with the Judicial Tenure Commissions will not result in fair and impartial preliminary investigations, may not even result in the respondent judge being served a copy of the complaint, or that he be required to file a response, and the judge’s response may be withheld from the public and plaintiff. Moreover, there is an institutional reluctance to investigate complaints against those who occupy positions of political power, influence, or elective office.  Contrarily, when We The People file complaints we are often held to a higher standard of proof. If a person of high political standing files a request for investigation, only then do commissions take responsible action.

The State of Michigan in particular has considerable levels of maleficence, abdication of duty, dereliction of duty, hypocrisy, and outright corruption.  The murder of Tamara Greene went uninvestigated by former State’s Attorney General, Mike Cox. And, the former AG himself was implicated as being involved in the infamous Manogian Mansion party, the evening’s “entertainment,” and possibly the cover up of Tamara Greene’s murder.

At the behest of Cox’s office in 2007 The Michigan Court of Appeals ruled that adultery could be prosecuted as first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a potential life sentence. In 2005 Cox admitted to adultery; but of course his office didn’t prosecute him and he is still at large. Former Michigan Supreme Court Judge Diane Hathaway plead guilty to charges of bank fraud, resigned her position as judge, and was only sentenced to one year in “camp cupcake” (Alderson Federal Prison in West Virginia).  Michigan’s judicial branch of government, as further evidenced in the The False Arrest of Paul Deering (https://thereformer.info/1titlepage.html), may be the most corrupt. Retired “Judge” Rudy Nichols, acting as co-prosecutor, threatened to jail and then take Mr. Deering to trial if he didn’t sign a plea agreement that erroneously stated the crime he was accused of was committed in Pontiac, Michigan, thus falsifying the court’s record of jurisdiction. According to numerous federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court, this is treason. Yet, Rudy Nichols served as a judge at the Oakland County Circuit Court, Michigan, was paid a six figure salary, and then retired – at Our expense.  Only former mayor of Detroit, Kwame Kilpatrick, was thoroughly investigated, found guilty of racketeering, extortion, bribery, and conspiracy, and sentenced to 28 years in prison. So, where are the investigations, prosecutions, and proper sentences? With the current elitist attitude of Our public servants, they rarely investigate and prosecute each other – self oversight simply doesn’t work.

It may seem to some that there is no hope of retaking the reins of Our government. For many Americans the answer to this growing dilemma is a return to the principles of limited government, divided powers, and direct oversight of each branch of government by We The People.  The principles of oversight were established by our founding fathers and laid out in the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. Article V of the U.S. Constitution clearly states that in all heinous crimes (felonies) a Grand Jury of We The People must bring an indictment. It was in fact the practice of this once great nation for Grand Juries to oversee investigations into the misconduct of fellow citizens and Our public servants that abused power and/or neglected their duties. We have a duty to place as many fetters upon our public servants as their own misconduct and criminal behaviour mandates.

Thankfully,  President Donald Trump has already initiated numerous reforms at the federal level, and some that reach into the States.  His reforms focus on government waste and corruption. And one of the greatest, most wasteful spending at the federal level that funds corruption at the State level is Title IV-D of the Social Security Act. It literally pays the States to create single parent households, manufacture involuntarily absent parents (typically the father), and incentivizes the States to order ludicrously high child support payments and then enforce them by what ever means available, including brazenly unconstitutional ones.

The first set of open letters in support of President Trump in his efforts to the waste and corruption, and those demanding answers from Our public servants are available from the links below.  The political pendulum, the political momentum is in Our favour. Let us not fail in Our duty of eternal vigilance.
